Big layouts rarely get bought in one sitting. Customers can save a layout and come back to it, share it with a colleague, or send it to you as a project enquiry. This tutorial covers each, and the Layouts & enquiries tab where they land.
Steps in short
- Customers save a layout and get a code like
MB-7F3K2Q. - Share gives a link to a read-only 3D view.
- Send as enquiry sends it to you with their details.
- Open Layouts & enquiries and mark each one as you go.
1. Save and load
Save gives the customer a code like MB-7F3K2Q. They type it under Load on any device to carry on. Every change makes a new code the next time they save, so the code you’re given always matches what they built.
2. Share a view
Share gives a link to a read-only 3D view of the layout, with its code. Picture saves a PNG of the current view.
3. Send as an enquiry
Send as enquiry saves the layout and sends it to you with the customer’s name, email and message. You can change the enquiry form’s heading and text in Settings.
4. Work through enquiries
Layouts & enquiries lists saved layouts, newest first, with the code, the range, the piece count and total, how often it was opened, and a picture. Mark enquiries Contacted or Closed; the Overview tab shows how many are new. To see exactly what they built, press Open in 3D.
Good to know
- Save, share, enquiries and pictures can each be turned off under Settings → Shopper tools.
- Layouts nobody ever opened are cleared after a year; any layout with an enquiry is kept.
