What it does

Get paid on time, without the awkward emails.

Aged debt at a glance

Current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days for every account, with each currency kept separate.

Branded statements

Open-item or balance-brought-forward statements with Pay now buttons, on demand or every month.

A polite reminder ladder

From a friendly heads-up to a final notice. Each step is sent once, and never once they’ve paid.

Promises and follow-ups

Record promises to pay and notes, and work through a daily follow-up list.

Credit limits

See each account’s exposure, get an alert when it goes over, and new orders flagged for review.

On Orbit’s own pages

The account balance on the customer page, and payment and credit on the order page.

How it works

Set up once, then it just runs.

Questions

Statements & Credit Control questions, answered.

Will it start emailing my customers straight away?

No. Reminders start switched off. You can preview every email, see a dry run and send test emails to yourself first.

Do I need Orbit’s Enterprise plan?

No. It uses B2B invoices on Enterprise, and unpaid orders on every other plan.

What if a customer has just paid?

Just before each email goes, it checks with Orbit. If the invoice has been paid, nothing is sent.

Can it stop an order that breaks a credit limit?

Orbit doesn’t let plugins into the checkout, so it can’t refuse the order — but it flags it within seconds so you can decide whether to ship.
