HOW IT WORKS

Type codes with type-ahead on SKU, name or barcode — or paste straight from Excel, or upload a CSV or XLSX.

Unknown codes get “did you mean” suggestions. Out-of-stock lines, quantity rules and pack sizes are flagged before anything is added.

The same code twice becomes one line with the right quantity, so nothing is ordered twice by accident.

“Add all to basket” adds every line with a progress bar, then shows a summary of what went in and anything that needs a retry.
Why it matters: office supplies buyers restock the same items every month and keep their lists in spreadsheets. This lets them order from that list without searching your catalogue line by line.

SETUP GUIDE
Find Quick Order Pad in the Orbit plugin store and choose Install. It only asks to read your catalogue, categories, stock and tax settings — it never changes your products or your orders.
Open Quick Order Pad from your dashboard sidebar. It builds its own index of your products — code, name, variant, price, image and stock — so buyers get instant type-ahead. The Overview tab shows when the first sync has finished, and it keeps itself up to date after that.
In the page builder, create a page (most stores call it “Quick order”) and drop the Quick Order Pad block onto it. Choose Quick order as the mode. Add that page to your main menu so trade buyers can find it.
Code entry, paste and upload in one block. Buyers switch between them without leaving the page.
Drop a second block onto another page and choose Category grid, then pick the categories to include. Buyers get every product as a row with a quantity box, like a printed order form, and add the lot in one go.
In Settings, choose which of the three modes are switched on, the maximum number of lines per upload, and any quantity rules — minimum order quantity, maximum, and pack multiples — by product, category or tag. You can also choose whether buyers see exact stock levels or just in and out of stock.

The pad follows your store’s tax display setting, so prices show ex or inc VAT to match the rest of your shop. Account-specific prices are applied in the basket as usual, and the pad says so next to the public price.
The Overview tab reports sessions, lines added, uploads and your most-ordered codes. It’s a quick way to see which products belong in a category grid.
